more and more its smelling like more scamming.
crooked investors and so on, why lie about your origins? if they are coming in deceptive, who would EVER trust them, and why?
seriously has anyone heard anything from them that has any real substance to it? A company supposedly on its way back, tends to keep a bit of a presence, not hide in the shadows.
ive e mailed them a few times asking questions, not originally as sharp as these and zero reply.
all the equipment that was allegedly shipped off to be put back together .... where ever to restart the company. where is it. my last update was it's essentially sitting in shipping boxes on a dock somewhere going nowhere?
do they even have a building yet at their 'new home' where is it even supposed to be. has anyone seen any documents, tax or otherwise showing, they applied for a business license or whatever anywhere ..something you have to do to open shop. of course there's going to be a ton of regulatory stuff too. anything, showing any kind of progress, instead of a 20 second ai generated we'll be back soon video?
they say they are going to restart in italy now. supposedly. well i thought that was why you moved out of italy to begin with was because it was too expensive there, now its ok? if you are staying there, well shit, all your stuff is still there, why the huge delay turning the key and turning the lights back on?
every time you hear, more people are getting fired / leaving, but hear nothing of anyone to replace them, except, oh we have one guy who worked at zero for almost a year, he's one of ours, who will replace all their engineers etc. oh really? news flash, Energica's are not Zero's, no matter how good that man is, he's going to struggle, severely. Then there's people like Chris, who can probably unbuild and rebuild these things in his sleep, knows every quirk and bugaboo these things have had over their entire decade of lifespan. That kind of tribal knowledge is irreplaceable at any cost, yet you treated him like trash and kicked him to the curb too. let me guess, you have another one of your guys, who worked for jiffy lube who can be your lead mechanic.
From very modest estimates, it'll take at least 3 to 5 years to get this thing even semi back on it's feet. To run a company like that, as big as it once was, even with the employee count decimated, it's probably going to gobble 20 - 30 million dollars. if you had to scrape and scrabble and crowd fund to get together 2 million dollars, adding another zero to that for your next round of begging, well, good luck with that!!
sounds to me like a group of kids, who made their 'fortunes' in some indian call center somewhere scamming people, put their skills to task to scrape up the money to buy a motorcycle company, wow, bet the chicks dig that!! now face the real world where arrogance / ignorance / and imcompetence just don't work, and there's no script or partner in crime to hand the mark off to to save the steal deal. and are up shit creek without a paddle. that's ok just shit in the street, nobody will notice.
we'll see in a few weeks, come june, when they were supposed to open back up, and be back in business what excuses come up next.
has anyone who originally did that survey for parts, been contacted about getting them, shipping, costs etc. anything?
has anyone gotten ANYthing from them? any parts shipping anywhere?
i get it, they are not doing business in America, closed everything down over here, but what about over the pond? heard rumors, but any real deals, or dealers? or all just still talk? dealers in the us who want to continue doing business, they wont talk to.
how are you going to build bikes, when you can't get the parts? if you have the parts, why aren't you building already, or at least sending parts to customers who need? at very least that'd generate income for you AND some good faith. rumor also has it, a lot of 'parts' they don't even own the rights to, designs, blue prints, etc are owned by someone else, and those people are really not happy with what they see, and not willing to get in bed with this new team.
why don't you hire someone who has a bit of a business sense to run that thing for you before you destroy it totally, or is it too hard to find someone who is willing to stand in front of a camera and lie their ass off to everyone for you? let's put some of these 'rumors' to rest with some truth for a change.
