he does have a rather poor track record of being on time with stuff but he does eventually roll out the items.
i can see the robots selling like crazy, not so much to individuals but corporations looking to get rid of the about worthless nowadays human help they have to put up with. A robot is on time, does not insult your customers, spit in their food, have hr on speed dial, cry about it's pronouns or a number of other ridiculous things humans play when they don't get their way. I can see someone like amazon automating with them as they are getting tired of the human factor as well. The unions will hate it, there goes their graft money when all their shills no longer have jobs. Speaking of, what ARE they going to do with all those now unemployed people all demanding an income just because they are alive and need weed money?
They will break though, so there will be a need for folks to service them and repair them. Id assume they'll be vulnerable to virus' and stuff as well, so programmers to code software etc for them too. Im hungry, hey Robitch make me a sammich. I wonder how long before we have robot marriages and divorces too. Feminism destroyed a generation or 3 of young women, so the robots will probably help with the impending lonliness pandemic as the screeching purple haired looking like livestock both in tonnage and colorful nose ring wearing creatures turn towards AI for companionship because that's the only thing that won't want to suicide itself after a week or so of them.
But imagine if / when you teach a robot to ride a bike, some of the amazing races we will see. About the only game changer / stopper will be equipment malfunctions, as they'll learn how to do everything.. well..perfectly. An optimus on an EGO will be a sight to behold. Then again, once we go there, you can thunderdome it too, have them take each other out on the track as well as evade... something humans can't really do to each other... well at least not multiple times generally, that could add an entire new twist to the racing sport.
interesting times ahead indeed if we don't manage to blow ourselves up in the next few years.
