Belts, tyres, brake pads and bleeding and discs, suspension, can all be done by any motorcycle garage. It's not different to any ICE bike. Even if you've got an Energica that needs an oil and coolant change there's no reason you should have to go somewhere that specialises in them. The only "routine maintenance" that I could think of requiring that would be the motor commissioning on Zeros after 600 miles or whatever, but that's hardly a necessity.
Perhaps there is an error in their claims somewhere.
Any betting types in here? I know where I'd put my money between Don's Internet Speculations and the engineers at Team Honda. I've got cash
There is no error, just Don's lack of reading comprehension and assumptions. They said 0 to 100% in under three hours, that could be anywhere from 2 hours and 1 minute to 2 hours and 59 minutes. And just because it has a 6kW charger doesn't mean you can assume it's constantly pushing that amount of power.
One comment that hasn't been mentioned about the WN7 is that it doesn't seem to be designed to accommodate any useful luggage. That little seat pack that was shown sure looks like an after-thought.
I'm curious about those panels below the pillion area of the seat, perhaps removable to be replaced with pannier mounts.
