So it's supposed to be 100 degrees this weekend, and ill be on a ride, up the coastline, in stop and go traffic in places, stuck on the intercoastal bridge. ugh. Tell you what, the heat is bad enough, but being on a bridge with the heat just roaring off that pavement and now add to it the ocean right under you and that humidity just baking you, it's just stifling. Another plus for an electric bike, you don't have a big ass engine bleeding heat and hot exhaust all over you and a radiator just burying you under hot air. It'll be interesting to see how everything behaves when the temperatures are approaching stupid levels. i might get one of those beer can hats and throw a few 2 liter bottles of ice water up there to keep hydrated!
ive seen little like 4x4 fans that run off usb power, i actually have one in my computer to help cool when im crypto mining, i wonder if there's a way to put one of those behind the windshield somehow, maybe on the X mount and plug it into the usb, just to keep a little air movement across your face when going real slow / stopped, that way it don't feel so much like you are suffocating off your old stale air.
what temperature does the battery turn yellow? im wondering how hot the fairings are going to get in the hot sun, that black im telling you especially the clear part where the eyeball is, can get hot enough to burn your ass, hate thinking about the electronics under there baking in that.
