One time I dropped my 2018 Zero S with Power Tank at a stop light when I put my foot into a depression in the street next to the gutter and lost the bike. It tipped over on its right side and, thanks to the 42 pound Power Tank which is located where a ICE gas tank usually is, there was no way I could pick the zero up. Fortunately, the car driver behind me decided that the best way to keep moving was to get out of his car and help me lift the bike back up, so that I, and the rest of the traffic behind me, could continue on their way. I am glad that didn't happen on a dirt road in the boondocks.
I have also had the bike fall over in my garage once while pushing it forward and the side stand folded up without me noticing. So my solution to that potential issue is to invest in a
MotoBikeJack. While this device works well to lift a bike upright that has fallen over on its side, it is about the size and weight of an accessory charger and is just too bulky and heavy to carry around while riding the bike. So I keep it in my garage just in case the bike falls over again when I trip over something while at home. So far that hasn't happened. So I guess it is doing its job.
