Richard you are not a sucker. This is all new technology and being a decent person, you expect other people to be that way as well, so stuff like this can get you easier because of your innocence <sp>, if that makes sense. You look for the good in people, and they use that to do their bad to you.
I've been doing this internet shit since the early 80s back when you had to dial into a bbs somewhere, so have seen pretty much every scam come and go time and time over. It's like every 10 years or so a new generation of shitheads comes of age that think they invented the scam, so recycle it in some form using the latest tech. Couple that with my military service, and some of those years being in a, lets just say, an investigative / disciplinary role, and getting to see daily, the worst humanity has to offer, seeing and hearing it day after day, I guess I am just a cynical old bastard, yes my outlook is very jaded, but there's a reason I am this way.

AI learns from people, ai is being programmed to be like people...let that sink in for a moment here.
AI is already smarter than humans, but not because it's smarter, but because as a general, humanity has become much stupider over the generations. They don't teach people how to do things, critical thinking, and life skills like they used to anymore. They teach them to rely on someone else, some THING else to do things for them, take care of them, give them answers to everything, find it, fix it for them. Yes it makes life easier but also makes the person more vulnerable, because they less capable. He siri, what is this, how do i do that, what is the answer to that, hey grok, how long does it take a laden squirrel to fly 30 furlongs in a fortnight?
When AI starts lying to us (hint it already is, big time too), they are not going to have a clue, because they never learned how to do this stuff on their own, to be able to CATCH AI in it's lie. AI is already lying to you. That was the point of my one post, it TOTALLY made up a part that did not exist. Nobody it seems caught it, because they just trusted the bla bla was fact because AI said it, or because they were too lazy to go look themselves? Does it even matter anymore, the paradyne shift is in progress and you nor I are going to stop it.
At least you have the self awareness to see that AI IS going to be a problem. so many don't have the slightest clue, and can't wait for the next 'improvement' to hit their entertainment in box. Weed and WiFi man, were good.
Just take everything you see or hear with a huge grain of salt in today's world. BUT BUT..there's a video of it !! it's all fake now, and soon unless you were standing there yourself, you'll never know the difference. We will be forced back to the world where you will have to learn to trust your sources once again, which is a good thing, the days when Trust was vital, and a mans word was his honor and bond, and integrity meant everything. are going to come around once again, but it will be a very painful righting of the ship.
