An owners review of the Chinese NIU scooter

This is an interesting article regarding one person's experience purchasing a NIU electric scooter in China and then importing it into Europe:  http://cleanrider.com/first-impressions-of-the-niu-n1-electric-scooter/

To me it sounds like purchasing, importing and owning a Chinese scooter is more trouble than it is worth, especially considering its very low performance.   ???
