Here is a quick view of the new electric bike of the reborn Bultaco. No specs yet, but they have a road and an off-road version.

David Herron @ electricracenews covered the Bultaco, and mentions that their Lead Product Engineer worked as a Chief Engineer with MotoCzysz.

It'll be interesting to see how the ultracap pack performs in practice. It could be beneficial for racing, as it should allow for higher power kinetic recovery as well as keeping the batteries cooler. But there's associated weight / volume / bill-of-materials costs..

Not only the front suspension equals BMW. The storage space (where once the fuel tank was located) for eg a helmet was already shown on the 2002 BMW F650 CS Scarver:

Nevertheless this looks a very promising electric urban motorcycle.
