As some of you may know when I got my bike I had a few issues which needed parts replacement.
The Spanish dealer promised a quick solution, and today, 3 weeks later my bike is not being repaired (the parts have not arrived yet)...I'm also concerned about the BMS PCB board problem as I have seen some condensation behind the little plastic window.
If the problem had been a chassis, I would understand they had not got it is stock, but this is unacceptable.

If Zero wants to succeed in Europe they need to stock some parts over here...it looks like not being the case today...

Are you guys in the US happy with parts performance?

I am also from Europe -Germany-. I think we have two problems: first if Zero has a lack of material and second we have an Europe Import center too.

My dealer (in Germany; Zeros are mainly dealt by companies working in Solar-business) got his test Zero S but had to wait about 3 weeks for the papers.

Since Tuesday I have my Zero DS and wounder, wounder I still wait for the papers.
A Motorcycle in the garage, but I can't ride it.

I can't see what the problem is to send papers from Netherlands to Germany.

If all spear parts have the same “trip” (I think the papers come by TNT) we have to wait for a long time.

It is good to know I'm not the only European in this forum 
Luckily, I had not problem with the papers. The Spanish dealer got everything set right away.

My understanding is that Zero has a distribution center somewhere in the Netherlands...unfortunately from my own experience it turns out to be more a "centre", than a real distribution site...(when my bike was delivered I got problems with the front, and rear suspension...and after 3 weeks the parts have not arrived 

Not a very good policy to introduce a new brand in one of the biggest markets in the world.

My guess is that Zero is using all of their available parts to build new motorcycles. Plus, it probably takes some time to ship parts from CA to Europe, what with trucking, shipping, customs, trucking, inventoring and distribution to the local dealer.  It is not easy to be an early adopter for a product of a new and small company without an established parts and distribution network. 

On the other hand, Zero has to be careful. They have all of their eggs in one basket and can't afford too many unhappy customers with a brand new product. They need to start air-freighting necessary parts until replacement stockpiles can be warehoused in their new markets.

Be thankful you can get the bikes, we have none in Australia, dont even get replies to emails.

I cannot agree more with you Richard,

It is very surprising -at this moment in time- they have no parts in Europe yet. It is also amazing that without availability they do not airfreight them 
It is very cheap to put such parts infrastructure -especially in the Netherlands- whom are "masters" of these business...
This is one of the problems of being owned by a VC Company, they want their money back as quickly as possible, which in the motorcycles business is not that easy...anyway, as you pointed out they are building their reputation in Europe, which as I said earlier is not a tiny market...

I have had no problems with parts for my 2010S when we had to replace the motor and try other things. They  airfreighted them to the dealer directly. To airfreight the parts either to a dealer or to the rider can be a fast and cost efficient option especially for small, new markets. Warehousing & inventory cost quickly significant amounts of money.

Either way, as firepower says, for Australia we need work something out that we altogether airfreight/direct import bikes even.

Agreed. It would be good if something is done for Australia.
