Zero Motorcycles leads ranking of electric motorcycles
« on: January 20, 2012, 04:06:42 AM »

Hi all

just come across a research report into emotorcycles. I like that they consider the Asian market. Whereas primarily in China these scooters are about walking pace -- I have overtaken them in Shanghai on foot - it is still great to see them happening and contributing. For these scooters one does not even need a license ...

17 million vehicles estimated for Asia Pacific, versus just over 30,000 for the rest of the world combined !!! Wondering how many Zero's are in that 30,000.

Pike research report:

and the one chart that sums it all up:

cheers

Anyone have the homepage of Jiangsu Xinri E-Vehicle ? The pic in the Zdnet article looks like the scooter brammo was rumored to be considering building.
