Gen3 log file parser
« on: March 12, 2026, 10:27:54 PM »

I have written a Gen 3 log file parser if anyone is interested:
https://ernstgl.github.io/ZeroGen3LogParser/
Would be interesting to see results of someone with battery problems.

That is awesome, thanks!

What should we check to know the battery status?

I guess it's cell balance in the BMS log. Look for types 75 to 77. There are values around 4000. That's cell voltages: min, open circuit and max.
The difference between max and min is the cell balance. Mine is around 2 mV (4111 - 4109) after a full charge.

Thanks for the info!
Mine are ~4mv, not that bad!

Hello. How do you understand "open circuit" cell voltage ?
I have tested a 2023 SR/F log from a friend (I pesonnaly have only Gen2 Zero's), and at the end of charge here is what it says: 4189,4175,4195 (see attached file)

Is there no label for the columns? My first guess would be an average, minimum, and maximum.

The ocv is some estimate for the voltage when the current was zero. While charging the cell voltage is higher because of the internal resistance.
There are no labels for columns because the meaning depends on the type of the entry. There is an explanation on the website of the decoder which has to be unveiled by clicking.
