Don, you are in Ca,  so is Chris.  He said he'd help what he can, so you, fortunately are one of the lucky ones to have him close by, that if you get in a jam, he can possibly help you directly.   The rest of us, well, if i get into too bad of a mess, i might have to invite Chris to Florida for a week, put him up, feed him some good country cooking and take him deep sea fishing and muddin a few times in Osceola to get some bikes fixed

Seriously though, Chris, if you do decide to get into something as, what I guess you could call a job, that involves fixing bikes, let us know, im sure there would be plenty of us who would be more than happy to support your efforts however we can.

I used to live in South San Francisco, walking distance to where the Energica shop location is/was located. But it was in Redwood City back then.


BTW, SSF is NOT in SF. SSF is in San Mateo County with several small cities between it and SF, such as Brisbane, Pacifica, Daly City. IOW, SSF doesn't boarder with SF anywhere.


SSF doesn't have the issues that SF has. Redwood City is also in San Mateo County.


The city of SF is the only city in SF County.


Yes, if Chris will still be on line that will be very helpful. But I wonder what the plans are for the new Energica co. owners. To lay off their most experienced workers doesn't seem like a good plan to me.

Call me stupid but.
let these guys crash and burn it again, seems they are hell bent on it.  it goes tits up again, but since they never got it really going, this time the bankruptcy sell off, you can pick the company up for ehh 300k.   the old team gets together again, and re-buys the company and salvages it and restarts it.   Energica is back, just took a few extra steps and a few extra years.  ::shrug::  Now they know better, don't let investment clowns buy into you, don't rely on state subsidies as your main lifeline bla bla.  Get the experia going, they already knew it was going to be a hit, maybe tweak for what changed over the years to make it even better,  that's your kickstarter to get it back going, oh and selling parts for the old bikes, you know that's going to be piling up.

i know it's a dream but never say never....

I'm not here to say negative things about the new ownership, I wish them the best in restarting the brand. Not a huge fan of how they are going about that but so be it.

Again if you need help with service or parts please let me know. Already have a customer bike in the garage for a busbar service. Just because you are not in California does not mean I can't help. Over the years I have hopped many flights to repair bikes.

My 2023 Experia has a couple of issues.  Over half the time, it dies in reverse, and when the cruise control is activated.

Sounds like a possible loose or poor connection. The cruise control wiring has a small white connector down by the bottom left of the steering head....might be worth having a look at that.

Well, it won't hurt to check, but I doubt if it is a connection problem, also it dies in reverse at perhaps the same odds of a little more than half the time.

Most everyone got laid off / fired / or resigned because they wouldn't lie for the company / new owners or wouldn't work for peanuts.

For example, they let their senior engineer go, the guy who basically did all the magic, because, they have 'one of their guys' who worked for zero for a year who's just as good, so they say, (and a lot cheaper and......).  While this may look good on paper, to accountants who often have no fucking clue to how reality works, the guy may be a real nice person, and smart at what he does, but Energica's are NOT zero's, it's not the same thing, and not a hell of a lot of that knowledge is going to transfer over.  Now throw in several models, several mods over the years, programming versions, bla bla, and it gets real interesting.

It would be nice though if they would introduce their new / remaining team to the world, let us know who's there, but so far it's just been silence or a vague post here and there.   Not a very good way to relaunch a business.

Id still love to know what income streams they have.  The people they do still have, need to be paid, and without anything coming in, that mil or two they crowd sourced or whatever to buy the company is going to fly out the window real fast.  then what???

I know several people whom have contacted them about parts, this, that and the next thing and have been met with crickets.

Hey Chris, your dedication the the community is truly awe-inspiring, and it's possible I might be back on a gas bike if it weren't for the amazing support I got from you and Stefano! I wish the new ownership recognised your and Stefano's dedication to the brand and the community enough to keep you guys on. Even though, I do hope they find success in the new paths they're taking things regardless, you can't just give away the leadership Energica has in the segment!

I would love to keep working with you, and I hope you can find a new pattern to keep doing what you love!

There are no energica shops in the usa without any energica.
new england has some stuff left i think, the rest are done / gone.

since we are hearing crickets from energic, im assuming they are done too. their behavior is not how a company 'rexovering' would normally act if all was well.
