that definitely does look interesting, and might come in handy IF you got something you can strap it onto that'll hold 600 lbs.
on the road, street signs. umm nope.   on the back roads. umm a fence somewhere, err, unless you wrecked the bike into it, not close enough, and also remember you need to get it up in the air too, probably about 6 foot up to be able to pick the bike up and not just drag it.

it sure looks great but i unfortunately can't think of too many use examples where you could actually use the thing when you need it.  if it's in your garage. ok, tie it to what, one of the rails of your garage door?  granted those bastards are heavy but i have a feeling this'd pull the whole dang door down with it if you tried.

now if someone invented a device that could turn cursing into anti gravity matts, now you'd be onto something VERY useful for when a biker drops the ride

I have a MotoBikeJack in my garage, which is claimed to lift a fallen bike up to 1000 pounds. I once dropped my Zero on its side in my garage and it easily righted it back up. It is kind of crudely built and too heavy to carry around all of the time on a bike, but it works. It comes dismantled in a heavy canvas bag about 15" long and 5" high.

Agree.  Not impossible if proper technique is used, but many have physical limitations that make it impossible, so a winch seems like a good option if you ride alone.

i have a number of physical limitations, so unfortunately can't just strongman mine back up.

if you got one of the bikes with bags on it like tbe ribelle or the experia it's not that bad, it's somewhat of an angle and you can kind of get a grip and force your leg under it and walk it up somewhat, if you are strong enough. if it's laying on it's side though, from my experience yer kinduv fuxxd.  one of the biggest problems i have found when trying in this position is as you are trying to life to get some leverage, the smoth plastic (except for the handholds on the experia) really does not give a lot of place to get a good grip, even the framing is kind of awkward and if you don't have something to brace the tires, it likes to slide as you try to lift that first few inches.

that jack / winch thing looks promising but how would that work on softer ground.  getting it to start w/o wanting to pull over might be interesting in a few situations as well.  but yah, something ANYthing that can help would be appreciated.

hate to say it but i don't think it's a matter of if. but when, your bike gets tipped over, your fault or not.

I was at a motorcycle ADV rally in Montana last August. I'm not an ADV rider, but I knew it would be a beautiful ride on my BMW F800GT from Seattle to Montana. Anyway, the ADV folks talked alot about which winches and hoists they carried to lift their giant BMWs when they slid out in gravel. It had never occurred to me that a winch or hoist was part of their required riding gear. A fully loaded BMW or KTM 1100+ bike would probably be a real handful to lift. I guess our E-bikes would be also.

but thats the thing on a big harley or touring bike with giant bags on it. unless the thing flips totally and is tires up, it's not totally on it's side, it's got those big bags its resting on, or running boards or something that's got it at a nice angle to just kind of shuffle back up, you can get up under it a lot easier to heft it.   the energica's now, unless you got one with bags, when it goes down, its laying down flat, and that smooth plastic trying to get a handhold on that to heft it up without the bike wanting to slide too, ho boy that can be a back breaker!!  i  cannot do it alone.  the top heavy thing you can absolutely feel it then too ugh!

Yeah but ADV riders generally think you need an EMD 567 and 3 shipping containers strapped to the back just to get off your driveway
