Well I finally got my bike back from the shop today.  Man she's a beauty.  the pictures really do not do it justice.
im almost afraid to ride it now, i don't want to ding it up, which i know is gonna happen on the track, it's all part of the world

put some after market lights and a horn on it to make her street legal and not having to hassle with hand signals.  Tomorrow probably be another day of my life wasted at the DMV getting tags for it.  i'll do the insurance too.  THAT is going to be a bastard i have a sickening feeling.

given they totaled my last bike, and the reason why, i can't honestly seeing them renewing my policy, so i am going to go try another company and see if i can get insurance there.  it's always easier, and looks better on me if I made the decision to swap carriers  .vs. getting a were not renewing you letter, then trying to find insurance.

After playing with the Ribelle and the Experia, i now know that YES i can make it back and forth to the track on one good full charge if i behave myself on the highway.  might be an option for quick days on the track, or the midweek meetups and private events we have, to ride the bike up, charge, ride back home at end of day  .vs. having to load all the shit up and run the truck / trailer etc up.  or for weekends run it all up so i can set it all up, and then just run the bike back and forth when i go home every skip day to feed the buzzard.  4 dollars for electric. actually free, my solar panels long paid themselves off...  .vs. 40 dollars for gas, is a nice option.

only thing i don't have is all the stickers i had on her, ill have to work on getting some of them back now. hmm.

i was thinking about it at one time but they had their fire sale on the experia's and  i couldn't pass up that price  and to be honest, im glad i got the experia instead.  it's a really fun bike, and i use it a lot for my business making deliveries.  it can lug a good 100 lb of beans to the ups place and lug a lot of groceries back home for me.  its fun to ride and gets good mileage.

the only problem is me,  i have to remember when im on it, no she's not one of the race bikes, she does not take off as fast and does NOT stop nearly as fast either, i gotta remember to be more generous and earlier on the brakes when im popping thru traffic.

man she's pretty.  it's going to suck now deciding which one i want to ride now each day.  Actually not too bad, the EGO really is not something i want to be stuck in traffic on.  maybe for sunday romps on the interstate or backroads and of course on the track and saturday 'race nights'  but between the Ribelle and Experia, man each one is fun in it's own special way though.
i wish i had a bike that was the Experia's comfort with the Ribelle's speed.  Speaking of, im going to need to take the Experia on the track one day just to see how she handles.  being the cog is a bit lower, i bet it'd be interesting.  it'd be a way different run though, braking wouldn't be so super critical, as you are topping out at 100 mph or so, not pushing 140's  i wonder how hard it would be to make one with an ego motor in her and maybe ribelle software?  hmm  one thing at a time...  now i want to go racing... hope the weather holds for late october.

Eh, the pegs hit the track before you can get a really serious lean on and even cranked right down the front fork dive is huge even compared to the ss9, it’d feel like a wallowing boat compared to a ribelle. The experia is a great daily and with properly tuned suspension may even be a good street bike, but the ergos and balance don’t make for the most impressive machine when pushing on. Unfortunately my legs are just too stumpy to daily the tippy ribelle and the ego is just too focussed for city riding. Personally I reckon the ribelle is more of a looker than the ego.

thank you for the input.  yah if the front end is going to be diving that might be an issue. if  im gonna do any track riding i better put better shocks on it,  maybe the old ones off my ribelle fit?  probably not, that'd be too easy   i best just keep it for delivering coffee then, i got plans on putting a power supply/battery in the side bags and be able to run my espresso machine out of the back box,  coffee / espresso right to your paddock,  has a nice ring to it.

Well finally got some time off and out on the track.  a bit of a new learning curve.  the new pads on the brakes, umm yah, VERY powerful, had to lighten up a bit on the grab.  Set the suspension a bit looser with a tick up on the rebound and she's handling much better around faster corners now and not wanting to dance when im going over the seams.

the bike looks awesome with the new color scheme and my new2 airbag suit.  lets hope we keep this pair together for a while.

was having some issues charging but with a good cleaning of the points it took care of that, it was not wanting to communicate right.  there's not a lot of voltage on the comms line so any little bit of shit in there will cause hell.  keep it very clean.
