Any suggestions on anything I can possibly reset to get the bike to charge? Here's what happened. Yesterday I charged from 36% to 83% at a public level 2 station. Rode the bike 40 miles, stopped to fully charge before a long ride over some mountains. After connecting the charger, heard a click, got "error, charger not connected on the dash" and the bike showed error 37. Tried three different chargers, same error. Since I had 40% charge left I limped home at 35mph. Bike is now in garage with 15% charge. 120V wall charger shows same error. I have the shop manual, and d/l the logs (which haven't been useful). I'm looking for suggestions regarding anything I can do to attempt to remedy. I live several hundred miles from the nearest dealer, so renting a uhaul, etc, to get to a dealer would be costly (but doable, if needed). I bought the bike used a few months ago with 500 miles; now has a bit over 4K, and have had no previous charging problems. Suggestions?

You have a broken connection somewhere in there. Possibly the spider-bus, which is known to fail. Or maybe just a loose connection somewhere. At any rate I think it's the CAN bus communications, so it's not one of the high voltage lines, just one of the thin ones.

Try also charging the 12V battery.

You can always disconnect the 12-volt battery for a few minutes.
It worked for me when the insulation failed significantly.
If the problem persists, you can also remove the two high-voltage fuses on the left battery.
I hope that works.
If not, in the worst case scenario, reset the BMS located under the hood in front of the front wheel.

Will any of risk the need to reprogram the key? I didn't get the yellow key when I bought the bike, and am not near a dealer, so am concerned about that. Thanks!

No, I've had a flat 12V battery and charged it back up again - no change to key, I think that its serial number is written into an EEPROM somewhere.

I've had so many problems with fuses and battery disconnections; I've never had a problem with the key.
Normally, the seller should give the yellow key to the buyer. Ask them before they lose it.

My srs is older, a 2020. On mine there are two 3kw chargers. Yours may be a bit different. But on mine, there is a 2 wire pair connected to the chargers for communication. A white wire and blue wire about 18-22ga. They are wrapped in that black wire wrap and have a Deutsch  gray connector. The connections and wires are just to the right of the middle storage cubby, near its base, underneath the fairing. I really doubt this is the cause but but perhaps that connector is loose.

You just got the bike so probably haven't gotten to this level yet, but there is a way of querying the MBB through two pins in the OBD2 port, using a laptop, UART, and some free software. You can ask its configuration and see if it sees a charger present. There's a guide to that in this forum somewhere.

One easy thing you might try in the meantime if you didn't already is key the bike on, wait a minute, then connect the charging cable with the key still on.  Perhaps the charger is slow to report its presence but will after a delay.
