IIRC, the seat also secures the VERY EXPENSIVE 12v battery (I know because the previous owner had to replace it before selling it to me since it went dead and she couldn't get it moving to bring it to my house).

Since I'm having the touring package installed I'll be able to secure the helmet in the top box; same as I did with all my previous Zeros.

Assuming the bags are keyed to the ignition so you only have one key.

My 2016 DSR has Givi bags so I have to carry two keys.
This was unacceptable as I’ve been spoiled by my BMW single key systems.
My workaround was to remove the plastic from the ends of the Zero & Givi keys & bolt them together (machine screw actually).
I also used a small neodymium disk magnet with a tapered center hole that the stainless steel flathead screw resides in.
With careful tensioning I now have a single key that’s foldable & has a handy magnet as well.

I'm ASSUMING (and you know what they say about that) that they will have their own key... but at least it'll be just one key for all three bags.  The bags for the Gen3 bikes are made by SHAD. I don't have much experience with them. My XMAX has a SHAD top box that has its own key, but the XMAX has a keyless ignition so that doesn't mean TOO much with that vehicle.

Previously on my 2021 SR I had the Givi bags. The top box had one key and the saddlebags shared another.  Since the keys looked practically identical I wrapped the top box key with tape to easily identify it. Let's see what happens when I get the bike back (unless someone else here has had the touring package installed on their SR/F).

I have the touring pack on my SR/S, with the SH 36 cases and the SH 58X top case.
I only have one "black" key.
When I got the bike with the SH 36 cases and SH 39 top case, I had one "red" key for the top case and one "black" key for the cases.
I bought a Shad kit with a "red" key for the SH 36 cases, and I only had one "red" key for everything.
When I bought the Shad SH 58X, I had a black key, so I rebuilt everything with a black key to only have one key.

I've gotten spoiled by keyless ignitions.
