You can run a flexible custom liine to replace any hard lines in a system.  HEL, Spiegler, any brake line manufacturere can fabricate the correct run length with fittings.

Exactly my point Pard, there are plenty of hose repair / manufacturer places around the world, they are used in many industries.  As you mentioned, brake specialists can do this too.   Flex line, is fairly cheap can be ran about anywhere and with SS armor, is just as sturdy as solid steel, in fact in some instances is better, because if there is a vibration issue, it'll move around a bit, instead of eventually rubbing a wear spot / hole in it.

as predecessors said already, full custom and full flex brake line from HEL will be a lot better and cost you about 60euro

I paid 38eur with shipping for my front brake (from lever to pump) - length 59cm

The front brake line wouldn’t have been a problem, but the rear one originally includes a fixed section. The mechanic warned me that the Swiss vehicle inspection authorities might object to replacing it with a flexible line. The inspection is due next year, so I didn’t want to take the risk.

yeah, I just watch few videos of swiss inspection rules and they are STRICT :O

for that kind of price I will not mind selling mine fixed lines and replacing it by full flex

my bike for sure will not pass it:
- aliexpress turnsignals
- no fairings
- damaged frame
- damaged steering limiters
- bent headlight mount

Indeed, seems like an odd marketing strategy.  Some crumbs of information to keep the appetite for more might work better.  If there was great and encouraging news to share, why would Energica not share it? 

Not a good sign, either way.

I had the video call with Energica. It took 45 mins instead of 15.
Very experienced and relaxed guy from Europe at the other end.
He was somewhat high up in the company and gave me interesting insights.

Overall, the relevant news that I can share simply is that they're actively rebuilding the company in all ways one would expect. They are working on it every day without delays, it's just not public. There will be good news coming within the next year.

Yes, had a nice chat of about 30 minutes. We talked about bikes and plans for 2026. From my point of view I am happy about the information they provided. I think most of it is public knowledge, the first step will be to restart production and rebuild a dealer network for services an parts.

any status updates on getting the plant set up? they have to ship all that stuff over, has it made it there yet? hopefully  customs is not being a pain.

Stuff is on the way. We talked about certain spare parts, I was told they have this part, but cannot get it atm, because it is in transit to the new location.
