They really can't give concrete details until the factory is set back up and everthing. that's going to take time as Stefano said. they have to move stuff there, stuff that is not being moved from r and d and hq in italy is going to have to be rebuilt, re bought. then there's the customs and getting all the stuff there to the destination. how much is going to get stolen in the process, you know how THAT goes. have to get it in, wire it up, permitted, bla bla, expect 6 months to a year hopefully.
The good thing, the parts, they can do that right now, most the stuff they can order or make with what they still have available, so hopefully in a few months we start seeing parts flowing again.
they are going to also have to get a dealer network set back up again. how many of the old dealers are going to still be there? how many new dealers are going to want to jump on, especially if there are no bikes to sell yet? that's going to be another logistics challenge. yes you can order parts and bikes directly from them, but what happens when it's an 'energica' thing that's wonky and you need compy stuff and diagnostics etc?
hoping by maybe next may or june they are pretty much back, but still remember the US shop is still open and doing business, so if they are starting parts asnd stuff first, id imagine that'll be the lead for them.
hopefully more updates soon, but they are probably going to be updates more along the lines of ....ok THIS is ready, this is online, this is ready to go versus giving you plans... because the moment a plan does not come online the exact moment it was promised, everyone cries and accuses, so they'd rather tell what's here NOW and not so much in progress.... that's just my opinion of course.
