That has to be the least detailed report of anything I have ever seen.  LOL!

"THE PACK has caught wind of something exciting happening behind the scenes that could be good news for the electric motorcycle industry. Although we can’t share all the specifics yet, some rumours say that Energica has likely attracted the attention of a foreign investor (probably based in Asia).

Energica - THE PACK - Electric Motorcycle News
Energica Experia (test ride by THE PACK >)
After two unsuccessful auctions and the serious risk of a complete loss of the company, along with its assets and technology, it seems Energica might be saved. This information still awaits official confirmation, but developments could occur soon. We’re staying alert and ready. More updates will follow shortly. Stay tuned, as you won’t want to miss the moment this story revs up."

Which is why I said: "Watch this space."
Hopefully something positive comes from this.

Indeed!  Thanks for sharing.  Just laughing that the author of that piece did not even try to embelish.

Some hope is certainly better than none.

Hoping for the best.  Definitely a vague report, but why put it out if there wasn't at least something to it...?  The auction updates went silent, so maybe they are just working out the details there...

can someone explain what "total loss" in terms of companies/bankrupcy means?

even if nobody buy it  ever - i think someone still holds patents/software - which cant be worth nothing

ultimately if nobody buys, any of the people who are owed money can say.  ill take the patent for 50 bucks, or something like that and get the stuff.  they can claim property but have to assign some value to it.   i can't see that happening though,  i mean energica usa, one of them would probably snatch it up before it got that bad.  shit id snatch the workstation up for a grand if i could.

My dealer wrote me an e-mail yesterday and claimed, Energica (or whatever is left) was sold to an Indian company.

I see that as a positive sign. As I understood, Bajaj recently  has more or less saved KTM, maybe they got Energica for a bargain price and will merge the two companies.

Just dreaming...  8)

WOW if true.
I wonder if that means they will make a centerstand for the Experia.

But it will probably take some time for things to get back to normal for Energica.

My opinion on folding it into KTM depends very heavily on how Bajaj want to tackle the things that drove people away from KTM. I really value how customer focused Energica are.

You'll be hearing something very soon.
Not at the 'this is how we are going to proceed' phase yet, it seems to be more in the hammer in hand, piggy bank cracked open, deposit made, now digging up stash of cash to pay for rest of it phase.  Then of course it still has to go thru lawyers, and all that crap, debtors have to be satisficed, final write off executed, new acquisition registered, then when the smoke clears they can breathe a sigh of relief and go, ok now.... the business finally IS all ours, and this is how we are going to proceed.

They may have a business plan already, but the judge can still say, well ok BUT, you need to do this and that first before it's yours clear, which was not in line with their business OP.

The fact that someone has put money down is absolutely a good sign and shows that there is a very strong chance they are not just going to go away.   As I said months ago, there are interested parties, but of course they are going to proceed in a manner that is most beneficial to them being able to be successful, with their new baby, and not take on a huge monkey on their back from scamonomics.

Who knows, maybe they can fix Apollo's bike for him, or at least put him on a real bike and use that thing as a fine example of what NOT to do to your customers!!
