If you’d like to test a different charger without buying one, feel free to drop by my place in Winterthur, Switzerland. I have two different ones. I only know that you’re based in the south of Germany, so it might be too far for you – but if not, you’d be very welcome.

@Urs     THanks a lot for your generous offer! To Winterthur it is a 700 km drive (one way) and unfortunately I have no time for such an epic quest right now 

@PWM   Bad news is that the fault of the OBC is back again. Bike charged approx. 10 % SOC at 12 A then the amps started fluctuating as before. I will try to get a new OBC.

Sorry, I thought you were located more to the south. Good luck with the new charger - hope it solves the issue!

Update:

Fortunately I could get a new OBC from Energica USA (Thanks to Demoni/Chris!) which solved the issue.

Installation is a bit of a hassle because you have to remove or at least partially unscrew and bend down the rear underfairing to get access to the screws holding the OBC (the two rear screws are installed from below).
Screws are not hex but T25 torx. But in the end I succeeded and I can charge the bike now as usual.
