Sadly with the loss of their CTO I didn't feel Damon could deliver a bike until I'm too old for a Hyper bike (if ever).
I liked almost all the ideas that Damon put into the bike but some wasteful spending and bad circumstances may end up being too much to survive.

I wish them well and maybe they will be able to license some of their patents to other companies and live on in that way and maybe make bikes someday.

What good is a company, in your words, being 'alive' if they never put a bike out that a normal person can ride?
At least Energica made it to market and has plenty of bikes out there.  Their hopefully temporary situation was not really of their own doing.  They got bought out by sleazy investors who sucked them dry.  Unlike Damon who it appears, the owners are the sleaze that sucked it dry.

Energica is not dead yet, lets hope they can still pull through. 

so are you saying that everyone who is owned money by damon, should get a refund because in your words, they are done for as well?
If they really are as good at you want to pretend, you'd leave your money with them... oh well,  words .vs. actions again.

You say you are worried you are too old for a hyper bike?  It sounds to me like you never grew up.  Maybe the bike is just too big for you and you don't want to admit it?

The real ignorance is in thinking that this electric something is competing against that electric something.

They are all competing against gas vehicles!

When electrics are dominating a majority of sales, then they will be competing against each other.

But they ARE competing against each other.  Whether you can understand that or not,  Any two companies making a product, are competing against each other.  Yes they are ALSO competing against gas, but also against each other.

So in your eyes,  Zero, and LiveWire as two examples of similar bikes, since we can't actually use Damon since they never went to market, are NOT competing with each other for business?

The competition may be a reason they never succeed, and your stock purchase will be a total or partial loss is clearly stated in the warnings about buying Damon stock.

Fran brings up an excellent point, and their past reputation is not helping them either.  They are viewed as toxic, and nobody with half a brain is going to want to do business with them.   Can that be reversed?  Sure it can, but that's going to take time, AND selling bikes to prove they fixed their game and their problems.   We don't see that happening, so they stay toxic.
