Zero battery tech
« on: December 23, 2024, 11:58:14 PM »

I've been reading about Li ion battery technology  - which may or may not be a good idea - and found the following info on
this site, from 2015.

Battery manufacturer is Farasis
The chemistry used is Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt: LiNiMnCoO2 (NMC) - Also know as NCM, CMN, CNM, MNC and MCN

I cannot find a similar, more recent statement and would like to know if this information applies to the batteries fitted to the current
SR and DSR platforms?

I happened to have the page open. :) This is for the Gen2 "SDS" platform. The current cells (in the Gen3 or "FST" platform) are from Farasis.

Thanks for your comments. I can’t see any information in the links which refers to the updated batteries in the the 23 and 24 SRF/S and DSR/X. I think they differ from the 20/21 14.4 batteries.

This is what's in the current bikes: https://www.batemo.com/products/batemo-cell-explorer/farasis-p73/

The previous gen were the P32 but the pages showcasing it aren't up anymore.
