My 2025 Experia arrived, and it's been a hoot. The only thing missing are hand guards, which I've ordered from https://machineartmoto.com/products/advance-guard-energica-experia-kit-3-ee

Unfortunately, the kit comes with M6 bolts, which the 2025 Experia no longer seems to provide threads for within the handlebar. The plastic bar-end caps of my 2025 Experia are approximately ~16.5 in diameter and are held in by pressure. Example photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TmPsFfJ7ixvJiZcK9

Has anyone had luck installing a threaded wedge into Energica handlebars that you can install bar-ends into (necessary for this hand-guard kit)?  I feel like https://www.drivenracing.com/catalog/star-nut-wedges/product/expanding-wedge-sold-one might provide what I need, but I've not had to do this before.

The wedges will work fine.  I use a wedge fastener to secure bar end mirrors on my Ribelle.

Just for reference no Energica has ever came with threaded bars. The bikes either came with the standard plastic inserts that used friction to stay in place. The 2 optional: aluminum bars ends or hand guards were held in place with expansion bolts like the one you linked.

You might want to reach out to the company that is producing them to let them know they should probably modify the parts supplied with the kit if they are intended to bolt up to Energica motorcycles.

Thanks! I've informed the vendor and ordered the aforementioned wedge bolts. I'll let y'all know how it works out.

After replacing the plastic handlebar caps with expanding wedges, I installed the MachineMotoArt ADVance hand-guards onto the Experia without a problem. I don't have any great photos as I've been riding with them covered up by Wunderlich Handlebar Muffs due to the winter weather, but they fit without an issue with the bolts they provided:



You can tell the bulk of the kit was designed with universal fitment in mind, as there is a lot of adjustment (and thus bulk) built-in to it. This particular kit allows for multiple levels of venting & coverage adjustment based on the weather. I look forward to using that wherever the summer heat rolls around.

heated grips are nice BUT they only heat the bottom half of your hand!!
The cold is on top !! where the fucking wind is blowing across, NOT where you are gripping with a death grip cause you are cold as nancy p's titty ! 

I get hand guards because they protect your hands from crap flying off the streets and trust me, even grit at 100 mph fkn stings !! but then I see those who want brake guards too.  Umm ok, Honestly, unless you are racing, or  into heavy track days and in the upper intermediate or expert groups, having to protect your brake lever.. on a tundra bike, ok I can see but a street bike?  hmm looks cool but not really needed imo unless i am missing something here.

Hand guards against the cold. they need to make a miniture oven you can keep your hands in so they get a nice tropical breeze, a bit of sun to keep them warm, but not too hot!! don't need sweaty hands, they'll freeze the moment they hit reality!

Ok I am pulling your chain a bit, ignore me but, winter or not, those protectors are nice.  Seriously, you go street riding, especially where I live where there are fucking dirt bag driven dump trucks everywhere, dropping shit all over the roads.  Even at highway speeds, getting hit with small rocks and gravel and grit stings, and you get kicked with a small stone thrown up from the car in front of you that can draw blood.  I'd leave those things on all time, warm / cold, it don't matter weather.  They actually look really nice too, like a part of the bike that belongs there.

Ummm, your hand guards are upside down...you have the left on the right and the right on the left....The adjustable/sliding part of the hand guard should be at the top.

The tire's only flat on the bottom  half, the rest of it is fine !!
