Car and Driver travels 1000 miles driving 11 EV's
« on: December 28, 2021, 09:19:12 PM »

Here is an interesting and entertaining article. Last summer Car and Driver magazine took 11 EV cars and went on a 1000-mile trip across four states to check how feasible it was to travel long distances quickly with the current state of electric cars and charging stations available. Here is a link to the article, which contains a YouTube video should you rather watch the trip instead of reading about it (or you could do both):

Today I’m ~2000 miles into a ~2500-mile trip in my Model 3. Georgia to Louisiana to Texas to Louisiana and back to Georgia. Last leg on Sunday. Superchargers work.

"Pack of morons trust A Better Route Planner. Results as expected."

I fixed the article title.

Not sure the problem with the Tesla's and their nav system that couldn't plot out a multi-stop route. I have had a Model 3 for over two years now and it has always been able to do that.
