Hello all. For those who know or remember, I am at it again. I rarely post in here, but I am having fun once a week recording the week's elmoto news as best as I can. I am on YouTube and just last night I figured out how to turn that video into audio and post it to Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Podbean, Amazon, and iHeartRadio. I haven't got TuneIn and Pandora set up yet though. But I will work on it. Just search for ESBK Studios.

I don't like spamming the forums, but I'm getting 0 traffic. I thought maybe it's OK to speak up one time and if I get subscribers then heck yeah. If interest doesn't bump up then I can just do it for the fun of it and no one has to watch.

I'll say looking at the four you have done the first thing that screams NOOOO is the titles on the videos.

If your wheel house is electric motorcycles then it should have Electric Motorcycle News Weekly nice and spelled out.
You want to try to get YT to suggest you in an electric motorcycle search.
Also name drop the company names that you are talking about in the titles again so it pops up in a search for Livewire or Zero ect.

What does a good bump to 17.3 mean in your world.  I emailed Zero a while back and they referred to the numbers they put out as badge numbers.  Nominal voltage times amp hours is generally what is useable.  Ktm is fair it is actually possible to use more kwh to recharge their pack than the 3.9 on their pack.  The charger is likely less than 100% efficient.  You seem to question what fourms others hang at like fourms set the norms.  Besides Ktm who else isn't misleading with their "badge" numbers which often means Max voltage times amp hours.  Same thing with battery tools 18 volts is fair, nominal, 20 volts is max.  Makita is fair most others are misleading.

ESBK.co was my old site I had to let go. So it's a bit nostalgic. And if you go back to my old podcasts it's also consistent as they were "ESBK Studios" too. But I see our point. I hope to gradually improve looks and sound. I'm not looking to set the world on fire as I have other priorities. But now that some has spoken up, I will work on what you have said. Thank you.

I am not quite following you, but I'm seeing this right before bed, so maybe that is it. Back in the day when it was just Zero and Brammo, Zero gave the kWhr rating at max voltage and Brammo used Nominal voltage. Then most everyone went the way Zero went, and apparently, when Brammo stepped out KTM stayed the course. Didn't know that. But I never followed the KTM much. When it came out the drivetrain was pretty much almost exactly what a local University had designed. And it was way behind Zero at the time. But the Zero MX went away, except maybe for the military. Its legacy is around in the Zero FX bikes, though. The KTM went away and then came back.

Anyway, I got distracted there. My point had nothing to do with rating the pack at max vs nominal voltage. My point was (and I believe I stated) that Zero has consistently improved the capacity of their packs. And having done a few interviews with Kenyon Kluge the impression I got was that was a lot of that was simply due to the cell manufacture improving the cells they were buying. But 2018 was the year the packs went from 13.5 to 14.4kWhrs. And they stayed there for 4 years. And then there a group of people surprised when they updated the capacity this year, with all the competition beating them incapacity and it having been so long since the last update? Yes, to me it felt like a very odd statement that needed to be called out. So I did.

Ok, so I get the whole idea that this is just a side side side thing mostly for fun.  That said here are a few pennies worth of suggestions.
I know it was 2 weeks worth but an hour is too long.  Make more but shorter videos.
The news aggregation is fine but either expand on the story or give a link.
The editorial section seemed knowledgeable and I found I agreed with most of your view points.

AHH thank you, and thank you. My other shows were 20-30 minutes. I am also putting this out as a podcast. I literally just figured out how yesterday. The length has always been a sticking point with my podcasts. I personally prefer longer-length shows and podcasts. However, I agree and I too feel the weekly news thing works closer to 20 minutes. And most of the YouTube videos I watch are that length. So I will make that my target. I will work on the news aggregation part. I'm not much on links, as it's time-consuming, and I find getting to links on YouTube a pita. I think I will work on summarizing the stories more. But I'll keep the links in mind. Also I have no choice but to make a slow progression to higher quality so bear with me if you can.

But seriously, thank you for the constructive criticisms. Actually very helpful.
