Besides the usual ways of securing your motorcycle, like using a long heavy chain and lock fastened to an immovable object (not very convenient), or using a disc lock (only moderately secure and if you forget it is there you run the risk of damaging your brake), my favorite security solution is to cover your motorcycle with a cheap generic cover so as to not attract prying eyes. if your bike is out of sight it likely will not attract attention - except perhaps by dogs.

However, I don't think stealing electric motorcycles is of much interest to organized thieves. They typically want to break the bike apart and sell off the parts. That would be no fun with a Zero and selling random EV parts is going to be tough and likely not worth the trouble and effort to do so. On a really expensive motorcycle, thieves might pack it up and ship it out of the country, but I don't think that would happen very often - if ever.
I think cars are much more lucrative a theft object than an electric motorcycle as they can bring big bucks. A few electric motorcycles might get stolen each year by joyriders, but once the juice runs out and the bike stops, the thief will have to walk home and your bike will eventually be recovered by the cops.

So my recommendation is to just use the fork lock and cover your bike with a light nylon cover to keep it out of public view.
Does anyone else have any better ideas?
