I wonder if there's another company getting prepared to enter Moto-E. If so, my money's on KTM.

I'm not sure there will continue to be a MotoE. I'm in the UK and watch the highlights show which include MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. MotoE is completely left out. Whilst I'd definitely watch it, I think that's a sign that it's not that popular. (I'd argue that it'll never be popular if it isn't shown!)

The original MotoE concept was for a single-make series, which runs through 2022.  Energica got the nod.  What Dorna plans for 2023 and beyond is still up in the air.  It could be another single-make series, or multiple manufacturers could compete with some kind of balance of performance arrangement.

Hmmm well what company has a track fast bike?

ZeroBrian's Light Fighter would be great to see.  If Zero backs them it would be very interesting.

KTM?  Unless they have something developed in super secret they only have a pretty low end battery dirt bike.

Livewire?  Good bike but no track star.

Triumph?  They at least showed off a street bike prototype.

Mugen for sure.  Once Michael Csysz passed away (and the family decided NOT to continue his legacy) Mugen has ruled the Isle of Man electric class.  It's just a damned shame Csysz passed away before his time.  He designed a MotoGP bike just before they changed the rules to disqualify it.  He jumped on the eMotorcycle bandwagon both feet because he knew even back then the future was electric.  For three years he DOMINATED the Isle of Man until his untimely passing.  He was America's "Dr. John."

Does Mugen make a street model?  As a single-make series the current MotoE regulations don't have a homologation requirement, but if Dorna opens the paddock up to multiple manufacturers they may institute one.

Mugen are sort of linked to Honda. It's always seemed like the relationship was one that could be ignored if Mugen weren't successful but suddenly brought closer if Honda needed to kick start their electric bike efforts. There would obviously be a lot to be done before 2023, but Mugen / Honda would be my bet.

I made the title this way since Dorna Sports said Energica won't be the single manufacturer for MotoE. It's anyone's guess what's going to happen but I think it's safe to assume Energica's not going to have the only motorcycle (or if any at all) in the racing class.
