I stumbled over this on LinkedIn of all places. After a recent discussion of what's vapourware, protoware, etc. there doesn't seem to be a better definition of an electric motorcycle you'll never actually ride than one desgned to be used on the moon.

While the idea of a mooncycle is a fun and interesting one that is an absolutely terrible design and I wouldn't want to be the astronaut that takes a spill on it. A smaller single occupant version of the original moon buggy, an ATV basically, would be a more practical idea.

As a NASA inspired but earth bound road bike it would be kind of cool though however with a 9mph top speed and those tyres that's obviously not what they're going for.

It's essentially just an art piece, going to be on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum as part of the ADV:Overland exhibition (whatever that is).
