So just as was foretold by the guys at Damon, mainly Derek Dorresteyn the COO of Damon Motorcycle and the former CTO of Alta Motorcycles.
As he said HD and Alta were working on a "project" bike before they had bad blood.  The one prototype drawing of the larger dirt bike basically has the exact same battery pack unit as the Alta.

The smaller one looks like a Sur Ron copy.  The scooter isn't worth mentioning.

The brand also comes with my most telling buzz phrase, "targeted at the urban market".  This means it's slow and has crap range but will still be over priced because it's for city captives.

I am no businessman and for the life of me I can't see how Harley who as been financially struggling will make money with a dedicated EV Showroom and support staff when they only have one model out in the market, and that model does not seem all that popular.

How many bikes a month do they have to sell to support a showroom and staff?

I looked at the Livewire several times and it is a nice bike, ...... then bought bought a Zero because of their track record and have no regrets.

Probably the e-bikes.  Class 1-3 are selling like hotcakes right now, no one can keep them in stock.

Does anybody know when / where / how the Livewire announcement is going to be made?  Google search just returns articles from weeks ago stating the announcement of the new model will be on July 8th.

Price dropped considerably, that's for sure. Much more in line with the other brands.

Here is the news about the LiveWire One. H-D has cut the price substantially. Just keep your fingers crossed that they haven't cut any corners on the high quality of the original version. The two colors seem a little bland.  It looks like they are going for internet sales to start. That should be interesting. Will they be shipping it to your home or have you pick it up at an established H-D dealer? I wonder if the lower price represents the profit margin to the franchised H-D dealer of the original model? Haptic Feedback? Really?

I'd heard that Harley had purposely de-tuned engines to get their signature sound, but was anybody really asking to make the bike vibrate when it is on?

I bet that is a feature that their traditional customers appreciate. 

However, LiveWire reviewers speculate that the vibration at idle is there to let you know that your bike is still on and ready to take off with a turn of the throttle.  Plus, you do have the option to turn that Haptic Feedback off.

Yes.  Yes, people ask for feedback of when the bike is enabled.
