What you link to are three seperate press releases.  As far as I can tell Guy Salens is not providing content, please correct me if I made an error in this regard.

I don't see anything puzzling in the Energica one besides the growth rate 2019 to 2024 and it is early 2021.

The Blitz one,  I doubt a scooter is more safe for a pizza delivery person than a compact automobile.  And what size tree is it that gets 48 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere in a year, and where does it grow?  So change your electric scooter every 3 years for safety if you have employees.

The Damon one, What does this mean in a "Source: press release Damon Motors "   "The Damon HyperSport sets a new standard in motorcycle safety, awareness and connectivity. It boasts well over 200hp and 200nm of torque delivered at zero rpm, a top speed of 200 mph, a range of more than 200 highway miles per charge."  There are three variants all called HyperSport.

They are still looking to do pre production development.  Sold close to 1000 is kind of past tense?  It does not say reservations it says sold.

I had the same thoughts but since I don't have any information to dispute those press releases, I kept any comments that I might have to myself and just linked the three news releases. I am sure everyone here can decide what they think of them. But I will agree that the comment regarding over 1,000 Damon motorcycles having been sold was news to me.

So I feel the term "Hypersport" will be known as the sport bike family.  Adventure style and dirt style bikes will have a different "family" name.

At this time there are four different offerings.  The 100 MPH 100 mile SE model.  The 150MPH 150 mile SX model. The 200MPH 200 mile HS model, and the Premier model with top components and basically track ready.

And yes at this time no bikes have been delivered so "sold" isn't 100% accurate, but things are moving in the right direction.

It's apparently an average for mature trees.  They bind CO2 from the air to produce cellulose and sugars, much of it sent into the soil around them.

A coastal redwood, like what is at my front door, stores over 10x this rate; and as it grows and ages, only increases its absorption rate as it becomes larger.

Trees are limited by their water supply, though, since that's the other thing they need alot of.

Never know what direction one topic leads.  I remember an Alta owner posting video of riding in Israel and there did not seem to be much in the way of trees.  The 48 pounds per tree seem to be in line with I search up on the internet today.  it gets confusing some of the articles start out at hectare and then talk acre.  1000 trees per 2.5 acres.  Years ago I was taught that most of the oxygen comes from the sargasso sea, I can still search that up at least for the ocean in total.  Oxygen production is another thing to look up.  It is kind of cold to go riding.

There was appreciable forested land here in biblical times, but most of the area was completely deforested by about 1840 under Ottoman rule (overgrazing, logging for firewood etc.)
There's been a significant planting campaign since the 1850s (~200M trees planted on 225000 acres).

As for Blitz, they specialize in fleets. 100% of takeout food and similar deliveries here are done by scooters. I'd be very surprised if there's a single car used for this in the entire country; cars are simply too expensive to buy & operate. The rare sparse, rural areas simply don't have deliveries.

The Blitz scooters are spec'd from various Chinese suppliers & assembled there. There may be some local design work done here, I'm not sure. They introduced swappable batteries about a year ago, again primarily for fleets, to extend range.

I'm curious about the Energica news... I generally distrust Fintech, and don't really see synergy between it and EVs. Ideanomics specifically is not confidence-inspiring, with many changes of direction & name.

I  had also expected Energica's parent company would remain their main investor and keep supporting them for a while yet.

Here's hoping Energica won't regret this...

As an aside, the deal values Energica at $65M, which sounds reasonable to me.
