Here's some good news for the road ahead. Starting September 16, 2020, we’re introducing something you’ve been asking for: get ready for per-kWh pricing in select states! We’ve listened to your feedback and have simplified paying for charging across the nation. This means that in these per-kWh states, you’ll be charged by the amount of energy your electric vehicle receives, and not by the amount of time you spend charging.
We want you to know that every state with an Electrify America charger will receive a pricing update. If your charging takes place in a state not making the switch to per-kWh pricing, we’ve made paying for charging simpler as well. In these states, where charging is still priced on a per-minute basis, we are simplifying it to two power levels and reducing these per-minute prices across the board. That’s on top of your current Pass+ membership, where you’ll still be saving up to 25% per minute or per kilowatt-hour over Pass membership, depending on what state you’re charging in. Nice.

That will be only 31 cents per KWH for me, since I am a member. So my Energica should be a lot cheaper to ride. Will be cheaper than gasoline with the new fast charge rates where we are no longer charged for the time it takes. I assume CA will be one of the states, as the law there will soon require no charges for time. And CA is where I do most of my CCS charging.
But even here in NV, it should be cheaper even if they still charge also by time, as now they are changing it for the power level, which I assume means smaller batteries (ie, EV motorcycle) will not be charged as much for the time to charge.
