Has anyone spotted any in-depth, unvarnished reviews of the Evoke motorcycles, either in video or article?  All that I'm finding is industry announcements, company videos, and one fanboy video from Beijing.

They seem to be out on the market now.  Canada now has a distributor looking to release bikes in October, and I'm interested as a lower priced alternative to the Zeroes and better performance than the Super Socos.

All of the other bikes are well covered such as Zero, Harley, Super Soco, and so forth, but next to nothing for these guys.

Ooer, the Urban S and Urban Classic are almost nice enough to want to know more!

But sadly I know nothing about them. Now I will keep watch for news on Evoke.

I am looking to get some help here with the errors that are showing up on the display. The most common one is single overvoltage which keeps showing up in the BMS app. I think thats referring to the single cell overvoltage protection which means the cells could by unbalanced or one could be exceeding and going over the voltage set by the BMS. The BMS has the single overvoltage set to 4.2. I have already tried balancing the cells but I continue to see the same errors.

I am balancing the batteries today and leaving it charging overnight. I till take it out tomorrow to see if the errors keep popping up.

Last time I looked at the brand I thought "oh, another electric motorcycle that doesn't quite go fast enough or far enough." But it looks like the 2022 models have changed that, and the Urban series is still pretty affordable. The cruisers also support DC Fast charging, which, you know, finally. So yeah I think they'll pull the market in the right direction.
Regarding reviews, Just googling "evoke motorcycle review" got me a bunch of hits. This one doesn't look like it's sponsored, just some guy's impression (disclaimer: I haven't actually watched the video yet)


So yeah, I'd love it if these pulled the market in a more affordable direction. I love my hub motor bike (similar specs to the 2022 Urban S), but the ordeal of getting it here was a real pain.

Looks to me like the model you likely are calling the cruiser model is the 6061 (usually an aluminum alloy) with "a high-voltage 336.0v power pack" would be the only one that has dc fast charging.  When you get a test ride on one of these let us know.

Are they for real an 8.5 inch wide rear rim?  Is that what I am reading?  And the sport bike like Damon is supposed to go 200 mph.  It must be a different world for the younger generation with money.

Where are you seeing 200 miles per hour for an Evoke? Urban S and Classic are claiming 140kph, which is around 85 mph, which is reasonable for the motor. The most expensive 6061 is claiming 230 kph, or about 140mph, which it has better for close to 30 grand. Or I've completely misunderstood you.

Yes, the 6061 is the one I'm calling a cruiser; I'm following the lead of their website in doing so.
