That sounds like good news to me.  But I bet Tesla is not going to sell those batteries on the open market to be purchased by other EV firms - like Zero and Energica. At least not anytime soon.

None of that is confirmed, yet.

I think Nikki at Transport Evolved covered it better (at least more clear about the source of each of the rumors, pretty solid they may seem):
