Hi everyone! We are Nicola and Tiziano and we are two marketing students at Lund University in Sweden. We are very passionate about motorcycles and because of this we decided to study the purchase intentions in the market of electric motorcycles for our master thesis.

Seems to be more concerned with Ducati, not electric motorcycles.  No other brand but Ducati is even mentioned.

For me it mentioned nothing but Honda, so it's probably producing independent data for each of several brands.

Huh, I got BMW questions.

And none of them were 'have I bought anything from them' or 'what do I think of their dealers' which would have gotten better answers than bland 'do I like brand x and associate it with words'.  I don't, generally.

Thank you very much for your answers! Yes, as some of you mentioned there are different questionnaires randomly distributed to avoid bias. The questions don't consider previous purchases and dealers because the research is specifically about brand image.
The website is .de because the survey tool used by our university is german, it's called SoSci.

The dealer's image is what I associate with the brand, tho.  You ended up missing that I think of them as a full-service luxury brand because no questions like that were asked

They're just one step less fancy than a Lexus dealer in my opinion!

But other than the BMW eScooter, none of the brands I've seen mentioned even HAVE an electric vehicle for sale.  At least Yamaha has some power-assisted bicycles...

That's a good point, too. At first we wanted to use more variables but our supervisor suggested to stick to fewer items. But I agree that dealer and service can be very important especially if you are already a user of the brand. Thanks for the advice 👍

In general the research is more about HOW a traditional motorcycle brand could launch an electric model, so the focus is about a hypothetic model. Half of the questionnaires use the original brands, while the other half use a fictional sub-brand (e.g. similarly to Scrambler Ducati, where Ducati is not the main denomination), to see if there is a difference

That could be an option if we'll have some time left... unfortunately being a master's degree thesis we have a very close deadline

Make a bike with 10 minute charging, 400 mile range, no maintenance, better performance than gas at about 7/10s the price.
The things will sell themselves.  There, I just saved everybody a lot of wasted advertising money and survey time.
