Nope. But the SR/F and SR/S have traction control. My Energica has six settings for traction control. Seven if "off" counts. But one would be fine with me as I just put it in the middle. I keep it on "3" and forget about it.

Output is limited to a curve.  It's not adaptive in any way, and only applies from start, afaik.

The Energica has straight up lowered torque at city speeds.

It's some control, but not none.

Sorry to say that, but that ain't traction control which involves some kind of feedback. That's just a mapping.

I leave my SR/F in "Street" mode for traction in my custom settings (100% everything else).  I've not yet had a wheel slip accelerating in over 7K miles.  I had lots of them with my 2016 DSR (one left me sliding down my driveway wondering what the heck just happened).  I would also not buy another electric bike without traction control.

It was the main thing that stopped my buying a DSR instead of the SRF. Even the FX is a liability without TC, and >30 years of experience tells me that the more confident I was of being able to control it the more certain I was to lose it

I have been thinking about buying  a Zero SR/S with all the luggage, centerstand, etc. for here in the Reno area where there are J-1772 stations almost everywhere.


And has charging on hot days been an issue on the SR/S?  At least the charger heat is above the battery instead of below it, unlike on my 2017 Zeros when the OBC is being used, just below the battery.

Many. 40 amp  (9.6 KW) J-plugs (or more) or fairly common in the areas I ride. So are the 16KW Tesla stations that I should be able to use with a Tesla Tap.


See here  (The 8KW has been replaced with a 9.6 KW, see my check-in). and here   and here  and here As high as 70 amps from a  J-plug. Be sure to read my check-ins, because some of these have been replaced to a higher power J-plug than stated on Plugshare.


I have used most  of these at ~8KW with no problems, but I cannot be 100% certain they can go up to their full rating on the machine. IOW, I realize it is very possible to have a 70 amp capable station on a 30 amp breaker and such.

Yeah, I ride mostly ICE bikes in the winter and more electric in the summer.


If it's cold, I will be riding my TTSE with heated grips, heated seat, traction control, ABS, etc.


If I want really hot hands, I will ride my Harley. It is analog for grip heat and at max, it is almost too hot to touch.


My Moto Guzzi also has hearted grips.


I don't even want heated grips on any of my electrics. Electric motorcycles are a poor choice when very cold, IMO.


Engine heat is also nice on cold days!  I prefer the no heat on electrics in the summer.


At least until it gets too hot to charge as I recently have been through, trying to get home from Carson City on my Zero DS that was too hot to charge.

When I got the SR/F back in March it was about 4 deg C here, and the heated grips on the Premium are plenty hot enough, like, BMW quality - I was pretty pleased.
Charging the other day in 23 deg C heat after a 70 mile trip on a 22KW charger, battery temp never got above halfway the whole time. I've had it charging without trouble sitting in the sunshine with the dash reading 33 deg C on the granny cable @ 240V/21A. Over 23 degrees and I will very unlikely be riding it as that's unbearably hot.
