Energica / Re: What Parts Do You Need

I would like to see firmware updates to increase compatibility with more level 3 charging stations. Or a compatible level 3 Tesla NACS adapter.

There are numerous potential buyers, but they have to wait for all this crap to run it's course through the court system before they can do anything.
Energica is NOT DEAD YET,  they have to wade the sewage to get out the other end clean so that a potential buyer CAN take over the company withoug getting straddled with the huge mess that was left by the previous owner / scumbags.

General Discussion / Re: Tesla Superstation news

But they can charge surcharges for idle, parking (if other spaces are charged), connection, etc.  So they could say, for instance, charge you an extra fee if you're there longer than a half-hour.
But they would never get away with that when charging even at a very low charge rate. That is the type of BS the new law is trying to prevent.

Perfect! So if I want to take my time shopping and eating while charging my Energica, while all of those Teslas are in line waiting to charge, all I have to do is reduce my charge rate! /s

There will also be a surcharge for charging during busy times.

This came out during yesterday's Tesla earnings report. The plan is to handle billing through the Tesla app. Users just need to identify the charger number and enter credit card info. There will be adapters in the US for tesla-specific chargers.

You can turn off Level 1 110V chargers in Plugshare:
Click the three horizontal bar icon next to "Search for a Charging Location" at the top left.
Click Filters. If you don't see "Wall" listed, click "Show All." Click "Wall" to toggle the green checkmark on/off.

Energica / Re: Portable DC charger - right for me?
« on: December 02, 2020, 04:58:12 AM »
Is the diginow charger small/light enough to strap on a bike and travel with it? Or is it really just for garage use. Thanks. Didn't see any size or weight specs on the diginow web site for the charger.

I have the same questions. Sent 2 emails to brandon@diginow.it but no response received.

Energica / Re: Why have you chosen Energica?

Why did I choose Energica?
Range and performance.
I recently did a rally and hit a 15 mph headwind when returning on my Zero SR with charge tank (6kW level 2). Made it to a ChargePoint location with 4 chargers. None would interface. Tech support couldn’t get it to work either. Had to get towed 70 miles. Never again! Sold the Zero. Energica Ego+ arrives August 1. The Zero was and is a great commuter bike, but I live too far from the fun twisty roads.
