New to me as well. Agree it is a poor value. The fake motor (I assume the battery) is hideous with funky welds that only make it worse.

There is no doubt that sales of Ebikes impact the sale of non-ebikes, cars and ice bikes. Here in the U.S. and far more so in much of Europe.

Bike is in N. California, after a ride in the rain and returning home, parked in garage and came back out in an hour and the lights and cluster were on. Key was not in the bike and it was turned off. it took a charge and could be ridden. But after another ride it got worse until it would no longer take a charge or run. 2 days ago went out and saw that the battery pack swelled and popped the top of the can off and some cells are bludging out about an inch in one corner. Got it out of the garage and parked on the street under a cover for rain protection.

This bike is not worth the cost of repair, but motor, controller should be fine for a project, new RS10 tires too.

My concern is how to dispose of this thing with mininal hassle? Ideas?

I believe that this used to be true, but it seems that they have realized the higher risk and all policies I see now, including mine, say any closed course is exempt from coverage. As said at the track it is not an if but a when for a crash.
Read your policy and it will be mentioned.

Battery has less than 3000 miles on it and It won't run. Noi Green light, full battery. Suspect kickstand switch as kill switch checks out ok.

The green line shows when the motorcycle turned on, magenta shows that it is in run mode, and yellow shows that the contactor in the power pack closed which activates the high current circuit. On the 2013 motorcycles it will only show if it is in “riding” mode or “charging” mode, not whether the kick stand is up or down or the kill switch is on or off. The orange shows that it is in ride mode and is not currently pushing any current from the battery to the motor. One possible issue could be the blue highlighted portion, that shows that the battery is limiting the amount of current drawn from the power pack, seemingly for no reason. This could indicate a power pack issue, however that would need to be diagnosed at a service center.

Help! '13/14 Zero 12.5. Kickstand switch seems to be done, 3 wires. Any advice on bypassing and getting it running again?

I used this Co. to make my custom leathers. Super price and quality with excellent customer service and communication.  I would write them to see if they will do custom gloves (they make thm too).
