Regardless of the impact, I will be sharing my thoughts on this with new management when I have the opportunity.

I was talking with Chris via email last week. He has been helpful with diagnosing a recent issue and sending parts. It sometimes takes a few days to respond but I understand he is doing all that he can.

Ever since my first accidental tip over on my SS9 years ago, I have removed the foot peg on the rear brake lever and replaced it with a license plate holder plastic bolt. It's still easy enough to find if needed and I rarely use it except for hill hold. Even the smallest tip over will bend the brake lever with how long the stock peg is.

Picked up a new Experia for a song and have been noticing some strange quirks and just differences compared to my SS9. Absolutely a lovely bike.

1. Bormio Ice - is it blue, is it silver? Seems like it depends on where you stand. Like that dress on the Internet from long ago. 😆

2. Charging - the backlight stays on regardless of the menu setting. Also, even with the bike turned off, you can control the menus but not "enter" to update settings. Strange.

3. Charging Again - Changing SOC limit in the charging menu does not change the time left for charging even though the SOC limit value will change on the same display screen.

4. The mi/kWh unit setting seems mathematically reversed like on my SS9. So I will use wh/mi again.

5. Anyone know where the cruise control 8 pin connector is hiding and best way to get to it? I have a cruise control relocator I'd like to install. The connector was much easier to find on the SS9.

6. The motor noise when starting or ending front sprocket motion is noticably louder. Thought it might be the chain but ruled that out.

Looking to sell my SS9 RS as I am planning to pick up an Experia.

Comes with Energica semi-rigid panniers, Energica tank bag, windshield, cruise control relocator, handguards, fork sliders, bar ends, and rear spools. New chain and sprockets and tires were installed about 2,000 miles ago. A number of spare parts including a brand new seat, front fender, rear sprocket, and set of sunrise red fairings.

I have stuck with Bridgestone for most of my bikes. S22's for the sport bikes and T32s for the SS9. I have no complaints.

Correct, somehow I did not. I think the rise of the SS9 bars helped there.

Somehow rage and panic fueled my ability to get it back but holy sh*t it was heavy and awkward. In fact, I tore a muscle in my forearm getting it up, apparently.

You can see stress marks on the bars near the handlebar mount, and they are just so slightly tweaked.

Are there aftermarket rearsets for energicas? The biggest thing I am worried about is that the rearset mount on the frame is bent in addition to the rearset itself.

Of course this happens right after I pick up OZ wheels and a few other things. Ill keep you all posted.
