With the Polaris announcement:
"All Brammo patents, technology, intellectual property and Polaris enhancements remain the property of Polaris," a spokesman confirmed to Carscoops, "and will be applied to other products and business units as appropriate."
The Empulse at risk and the Harley Livewire stopped, and Faraday Future's few patents likely soon to follow...
Is the EV world going to go all "Samsung vs Apple" and litigate each other's successful products for profit?
Or is this "patent and hold" just a blocking mechanism against EV?
I worry for those who want to innovate and advance this market now having to step around the potentially litigious patents with vague language and underdeveloped ideas that are beginning to litter the field.

All good questions. And reasonable ones considering what has happened lately when a big corporation runs into financial trouble. :(
