I dont know how close the 2014 sr is to my bike but I am working on a wire diagram myself. If there is any question you had I might be able to help.

Any luck with this one? Just picked up a 2014 SR and looking to replace the stock controls with a Motogadget system.

I am more than willing to make a 2014 / 2015 wire diagram if someone would bring me their bike ;)

What from Motogadget are you trying to install?

If worst comes to worst I can spend a bit of time tracing things out, but would be awesome if there was a pre-exiting one.

I'm looking at fitting an m-Unit (as well as a few others things) but just need to check what is / isn't going to fit with the Zero's LV electrical system.

I see nothing on the inputs which would not work on the bike.

Download my diagram and see if the colors are similar to your bike ;)

Also, you don't need to spend a ton of money to put an RFID system on your bike if that is your goal.

Contact Zero or Hollywood Electrics, even if it just part of a diagram they hopefully can help, at least should be asked so they know customer want it.

@firepower awaiting response from Zero and already had an (email) chat with Harlan about the GripAce system he runs - will hit him up for wiring diagram whereabouts too.

@Burton
Not sure if I've missed something (still new to these forums), but if you can point me in the direction of the 'your diagram' you mention I would be forever grateful. Also, although the m-Units make it stupidly easy to fit an RFID system, the main draw is the nicer management of lighting systems, single wire bus to the hand controls and integrated alarm.

If you search "wire diagram" it comes up as 2013 wire diagram http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3603.0 (direct link to thread) Find the diagrams attached at bottom.

Their solution might be easier to install by if I recall mine cost $25 ;)
(my playlist, look for RFID for details, pt 3 has testing)

I have been using it for 8 months now without a problem, granted I don't have an ignition / key on my bike ... it is pure RFID only. ... oh and an emergency stop switch I kept from when the bike was used for racing so I can power cycle while moving ;)

  • Turn signal Right
  • Start
  • Horn
  • Turn signal Left
  • Kill switch and side stand switch
  • headlight (12vdc+)
  • Front brake
  • Rear  brake
  • Ignition lock
  • 12v ground

Wow, awesome work Burton. The bike is sitting in the back of a truck (hopefully) right now, when it arrives and the bodywork comes off for painting I'll see how close of a match it is.

If you search "wire diagram" it comes up as 2013 wire diagram
Interestingly, it doesn't. Can see the post you linked to, but doesn't appear in search results.

This is your problem with the search

You need to search from top level it seems :/
If you click on the forum index then search it should come up :D

I have made that mistake before myself ;)

If I get an FX, which I am seriously looking at doing so I can use their battery packs on my SR, I will make a diagram for it as well.

Not many local riders willing to park their bike here for a day or two and let me take it apart to get the info I need to make the diagram lol

On my bike there is over 160 connections I had to catalog to make the diagram you see.
