sounds like the poor better step up their game and figure out some skill to be worth while to society.
Every time there is some tech advance, some sector gets put out of work, and they whine wail and scream oh woe is me. cars, displaced the wagon industry, video tape displaced the reel to reel industry, cd's displaced the tape industry, then came SS electronics... then came the internet and streaming. on and on and on
skills, the trades, construction, plumbing, electrical, woodworking, framing, etc. none of that is going away anytime soon, learn a skill that will earn you a living, instead of something ignorant like medieval lesbians and their tools of the trade type degrees.
middle class probably is not going to afford the bots, at least not for a while, they still need people to mow lawns, rake leaves, do yardwork etc. a lot of those jobs won't go away. mechanical skills won't go away, troubleshooting, won't go away, no bot will be able to look under the hood of your car and say, ok this is the problem, then go and fix it unsupervised. my shitter clogs up, someone needs to come and fix it. that shit's expensive, those people make money. guess what, middle class shitters clog too, not just the rich people. on that, there are so many different types of toilets, no bot is going to know how to snake each one, every bathroom is laid out different, every sewer system is different, degraded different, no bot could possibly know every layout, plenty of use for humans. Chefs, people love to eat real food, NO machine will ever replace a good chef with current tech, as so much of good food you need feel, sight, smell,..tribal knowledge to prepare it perfectly, even grilling. no robot will be able to taste, sniff and say, hmm a pinch of this, and 5 more minutes.
even the low skilled, lower intellect folks will have plenty of job opportunities, just get rid that retarded entitlement mindset that you are worth 25 or 30 dollars an hour because you absolutely are NOT. if your weed is too expensive and you can't afford it, learn better paying skills.
there is no free ride.
robots will be the end of humans because people will be lazy shits, why should i learn anything, gain any skills, ill have my robot do it. Talk about useless eaters, you think there are a lot now, just wait until the bots start replacing the low skilled jobs and they won't do anything else, won't learn something better, just expect someone else to feed them like a canary bird. it's gonna get interesting.
