My only experience with this is just this one bike, my 2020 srs. I've put 73k miles on so I've done a lot of belt adjustment and a few replacements.
I've learned:
1) Krikets are not repeatable or consistent with each other. I bought two, gave up, and use the phone app.
2) The sprocket centering isn't perfect, so there is a repeatable point in each 360 of rotation of the rear wheel where its highest, and lowest. I was able to rotate my rear sprocket two holes over and mitigate that some.
3) The tension raises 8-10hz when torqued from what you measure when the axle is loosened to adjust.
4) I stopped using the app to periodically check the tension and just use the twist method. If you know what a tensioned belt feels like, you have your reference. If it feels loose, its time.
5) It doesn't seem to matter if the belt touches the fence at the rear. I look at the front sprocket and center it there. That the way I run them and it doesn't make noise or abrade the belt, and they go the full 25k.
6) What I see on 25k belts is - once they are off - bend it backwards so you are curving the opposite way it normally bends, and you will see big cracks in between each belt tooth. They are very hard to see when the belt is on. 25k seems about right for replacement.
Usually I set it around 65-70Hz, which can accommodate the rise and fall of the tension as the wheel turns. I have never broken a belt.
