Bump -  Looking at getting an airbag protection unit for myself.
Any further updates folks may add to this thread?

Im torn between the Dainese and Alpine star.  Like the dual purpose of the AS, but the Dainese seems to be a bit more protective in the long run of things.

I have the Dainese Smart Jacket vest for the last 2 years. No complaints
