I saw that awhile back, but fear it is a long way off.  I can only charge at L1 as I'm off grid with somewhat limited power available. It typically takes 2 days to charge my 12.5 batt. On a good day (full sun and no need for AC) I'll have about 7kWh of surplus power to tap. And then I'm over 50 miles to a CCS charger.  It is not impossible to make it work with the SS9 but a challenge and hassle.

If the bike is still available after the summer then I'll take you up on that. I'd rather two Energicas over an Energica and a Leaf. I'm looking into what to replace my Honda CB1100 with after my friend uses it on the road trip we're going on this summer.

Haha that’s what it feels like to me too, but the price is whatever the market will pay! I wish I could just hang onto it, but it doesn’t make sense to have 2 bikes right now.

Don't you know the formula for how many bikes we should have? It's "X+1" where "X" represents the number of bikes we currently have. 


So I should have a dozen bikes, but I only have 11.

I own two houses and each have a three-car garage. I keep half my bikes here and the other half at my Reno house.


They all run like new. A lot better than new in the case of the 1971 BMW R75/5 (performance mods).


It's a nice electric ride between the houses when the weather is nice.

I have a friend who owns 23 motorcycles, most of which he stores in a rented commercial unit, a couple in his airplane hanger and four in his garage. None are EVs. I can't even imagine how much work it take be to service and maintain that many vehicles - to say nothing of also doing the same to an airplane. Up until last year he also owned a sailboat, but he finally sold that as it was becoming a struggle to keep up.

Is the 60-90 mile range with or without the side cases? I'm trying to see the feasibility of using this bike on my trip vs the Honda. What is the wh/mi on flat roads on 30,40,50,55,60,65mph? I'm doing a bunch of research on the longer routes to see if I could make it work on the longer trips between waypoints with some as long as about 80mi.

Edit: Nevermind, after viewing and researching my possibilities for the trip, managing two charging timelines and finding two available and working chargers is more than what I'm prepared for. I'd still like to buy the bike after my trip, and sell my Honda. Of course given you haven't sold it yet.
