2020 SR/F problem using the app
« on: March 14, 2026, 10:41:47 PM »

Everytime I connect the app and swing up my sidestand, instead of getting the dash, I get this. What do I have to do to fix this?

do you have a kill switch?  or some sort of disable?
try pressing that.
it appears it sees you swinging the kickstand up as readying the bike to travel, and it don't like that.

if you cycle the kill or something to let it see you transition out of 'ready to ride' mode, it might make it happy again?

just pulling something out of my ass besides my head. it may or may not work.

Thanks. I'm used to the behavior of the app with my Gen2 bikes, where I would use the app as a dash extension to display battery, controller and motor temperature alongside estimated remaining range and the time. It was pointed out that all of that information is already available on the Gen3 dash, so the app disables any display while riding. Odd that it has an option for "dashboard" that does nothing. I guess that leaves the phone free to be used for navigation alone.
