Not seeing any updates
« on: December 06, 2025, 06:58:03 PM »

Does anyone have any updates on the reopening of Energica?

Any US dealers getting back onboard?

Any service center agreements if someone doesn't want to sale but just service?

I'm still only seeing the 1990 style website.

ill see what i can find out.
unless it's something energica specific, like a programming issue etc, any bike shop should be able to do most the normal maint on them.

I expect they're busy behind the scenes re-establishing supply chains, trying to re-hire the people they'll have lost, and executing on some kind of return-to-production plan we aren't privy to. They'll let us know when there's news.

IMO kinda silly to still be saying this on your only public facing website right now though:

“after sales support is back up, please reach out to your dealers. more updates in Oct 2025.”

Is it really up?  All I’ve experienced so far is chatting with dealers who used to carry Energica telling me they don’t plan to carry them again.  Furthermore, it’s two months past October…at least give me a new timeline if you’re trying to give timelines.

Well, considerable time has gone by since the takeover was announced, so some anxiety is understandable.

My expectation was that the spare parts business using the existing ware house inventory would be up and running first & quick as an early cashmaker. Hiring two people for this business should not take so long.

Now I suspect negotiations with parts manufacturers are dragging on (e.g. headlamps). Those companies were burnt when Energica declared insolvency and probably want to see money upfront before starting production. Moreover, it's low quantities, not exactly a good bargaining chip in negotiations.

I got an email from the UK distributor about this very topic today!

Quote
Afternoon,

I hope this email finds you well.

We finally have some official good news that some of you may already have heard.

Please see the official statement below from Energica’s new management team:

“We’re thrilled to reintroduce Energica—now under new leadership, with a renewed mission and an exciting roadmap ahead. Our focus is on pushing the boundaries of high-performance electric mobility, strengthening our global dealer network, and bringing back our iconic lineup of motorcycles, while restoring full service and support for all customer needs.”

We’ve already had some initial conversations with the new EU-based team, including discussions around one of the most important topics for our customers: parts availability.

They’ve asked us to compile a list of outstanding or hard-to-source components so they can assess current stock and prioritise production when manufacturing restarts next year.

If you are waiting on or anticipate needing any specific parts, please let us know. We still hold a good stock of most service and wear items here at EEMC HQ, but certain components—particularly bodywork panels and Energica specific parts—have been difficult to source over the past few years.

Overall, this is very positive news for Energica owners and us alike. While details are still emerging, we’ve been reassured that supporting the existing dealer network and current customers is a top priority for the new company.

Have a great weekend,

Alec
