Not a lot of interesting details on the bike but he does say he set it to charge at 8A so I guess it must have manual charge rate limiting. I dunno that I'd be too happy with Calimoto bringing me down some of those roads especially given what's on offer from some of the more developed routes but crawling along between the hedgerows is his style. Ignore the clickbait title, it's just him moaning that some people said the UK was dangerous and he's afraid to leave his bag on the bike.

I dunno, I leave stuff strapped to my bike all the time and I've never had trouble. It's like my aunt telling me you can't walk down the street I used to work on because you'd get stabbed or someone from a flyover state telling you if you go to New York you'll get murdered by gangs.

Incidentally, I did it in 22 as a straight shot. You could probably manage 14 legally on a gas bike but you'd be dangerously fatigued by the end (there are long sections of roughly surfaced, close in, winding, and hilly single-track). I'd planned for 18-19 and ended up screwed by chargers but I think they've done some work on improving the infrastructure since.
