It seems unfair that some of the fossil motorcycles have 10" screens and adaptive cruise control but not any of our electric ones.

I see this as a matter of target group marketing. From my experience (Germany) most owners are using the bike mostly for fun on weekends, for them certain features are unneccessary and would only increase the bike's weight.
Radar-assisted cruise/distance controls (RCDS) I see as something for longer-distance highway commuting or travelling.
At the time being, the available electric bikes are not really good for this due to the limitation in battery capacity (charge stop approximately every 120 km). So I do not see a reason to attach a RCDS to a Zero or Energica. Besides, it would probably look s**t.

To avoid any misdunderstanding, I referred to adaptive (radar) CC only as having too much weight, looking crappy on a bike and making no sense when you don't spend much time on highways.

I use the CC on my bike (Energica Ribelle) quite often but would wish for better positioning of the buttons.

Does radar add that much weight? A few brands use it Ducati, KTM, and BMW. It seems small enough. Unless some heavy components are hidden?

In fact I have unusually long thumbs, that's why I have to wear XL size gloves instead of L. That helps with the buttons, but it' still a pain in the a**.

I am thinking about to switch the wires of both buttons, then the engage button (now the lower button) is on top and at least a few millimeters nearer.
