I've only used CCS chargers about a half dozen times and they've worked without issue. I have had 240v public L2 chargers completely stop charging or do a weird stop/start multiple times during a charging session. This has happened about a dozen or so times since I've owned my EVs. Since my bike is what I use the most, it's the EV that's experienced the issue the most although my Chevy Bolt experienced it once at Blink L2 charger.
The only problem I have with charging stopping is when I use a 14 KW Tesla destination station with my Elcons, using a Tesla-Tap on my Zeros. It will charge for five minutes and stop and then I have to disconnect and reconnect for another five minutes of charge.
It does NOT do this when I use the Tesla-Tap on my Energica.
It does not do it with the Elcons on other than the 14KW Tesla destination chargers. It will work perfectly on the 12KW in any combo.
Perhaps the 14KW Tesla Destination charge stations are detecting something I am not using, such as detecting that I am not using the pilot signal.
