A small green circle on the dashboard is all it takes to let me know that the bike is enabled. I can see why some hardcore Harley fans would prefer a more "manly" indication though

Haptic Feedback? Really?

I'd heard that Harley had purposely de-tuned engines to get their signature sound, but was anybody really asking to make the bike vibrate when it is on?

Revzilla notes that: The reduced price also means a reduced dealer network, unfortunately. From LiveWire’s FAQ page, only authorized LiveWire Stores, not Harley-Davidson dealers, can sell and service LiveWire ONEs. LiveWire currently has stores in California, Texas and New York. They will not ship motorcycles beyond 50 miles from a store and their store locator won't show any results at all if you are more than 150 miles away.  With a shipping distance of only 50 miles from whatever new LiveWire dealership is established, that is sure to limit the number of LiveWire ONE's to be sold this year.

They also compared last year's H-D LiveWire with the ONE and had this to say:  the LiveWire ONE lost five horsepower and two foot-pounds of torque. Stranger still, it gained 13 pounds. (Maybe the 12-volt battery that runs the bike’s computer and keyless ignition was swapped from lithium to AGM or similar?)

And that: LiveWire ONE debuts at the Progressive IMS Outdoors show at Sonoma Raceway in California on July 18. Orders open today on LiveWire’s website with deliveries starting in two to four weeks. I plan to attend the "show" next Saturday, likely riding my Royal Enfield as I am pretty sure that my Zero will not make it to the Raceway and back home without five hours of L1 charging and I don't plan to stick around that long.  Plus, I am pretty sure that they will not have L1 outlets in the two parking lots that are set aside for attendees.
